The Dental Leaders team ahs been chosen to provide
 high level dental services to the animals of Miami's
Metrozoo and also for the great apes at the Monkey
Jungle attraction and research facility. Special
credit and thanks are well deserved by Dr. Chris Miller,
Head Veterinarian at Metrozoo, and Sharon Du Mond,
Owner of Monkey Jungle. These services are provided as
a service to the citizens of Miami Dade County, and are
absolutely free of charge.

Animals treated by Groh and Souviron in the past include:

African Wild Hunting Dog: Several root canals, extractions, and fillings.
Also a difficult surgical root canal treatment.

Indian Bull Elephant:: Partial root canal and filling on a fractured tusk.

Highlands Gorilla:: Fillings, several extractions, and cleaning.

White Bengal Tiger:: Root canal and fillings on a fractured tooth.

Lioness:: Gingivectomy of infected tissue. Root canal and filling on a fractured tooth.

Several other tigers, a lion, and a bear were also treated by the team in recent years.
