The Dental Leaders Team

To be able to build and maintain such a practice, we have assembled a team of especially sincere individuals in whom we place the highest trust and regard. These people have agreed to work and interact with no fixed job descriptions to hide behind. We have instead created and endorsed a list of Global Priorities for the office to live under, the first of which is to "give excellent service to the patient in front of you". This service comes from the heart, and the focus is always on you.

May we introduce our team of successful dental professionals, along with some of their credentials:

Kathy Findlay

Kathy is the Office Manager and practice cornerstone. Her responsibility is to assure that all patient needs are well cared for and that we continuously provide excellent service. She assists with travel arrangements for our out of town patients, and is an instant friend to all. Kathy holds dual degrees in business and marketing from Abilene Christian University. She has been with the practice for over fifteen years. Kathy has a daughter, Kelley.

Marilyn Suarez

Marilyn is a true asset to our practice; she fulfills important responsibilities in Patient Services and is our chief Financial Administrator. Marilyn brings tremendous experience and joie de vie to our team; in fact, she was a patient for many years prior to joining our leadership. Marilyn is expertly bilingual and provides exceptional services to our Spanish-speaking patients. She is a graduate of the University of Miami in business and marketing. Marilyn has been married for over 8 years and has an infant son.

Jackie Ruiz

Jackie is a retired dental hygienist and realtor who missed dentistry too much. She returned to the profession to utilize her knowledge and experience as a Patient Service Administrator. Her strengths are her communication skills and her compassion. Jackie earned her RDH from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine. Jackie wants to be of service, in English and in Spanish. She has been married over 32 years and has a son and daughter.

Nicole Brown

Nicole performs dual roles in the practice. First she is Dr. Souviron's legal secretary. She is responsible for the scheduling of his appearances and lectures, as well as providing documentation for his legal testimony. Nicole is the foundation behind Dr. Souviron's busy schedule. Second, but not least, she is the Insurance Administrator for the practice. She tackles everything from benefit verification to the complex authorizations, with ease. She has been married for over 4 years and has a daughter, Amber.

Cathy Garwood, RDH

Cathy is everything to everybody in the Dental Leaders practice. She is a top-notch dental hygienist with decades of experience and a reputation for thorough yet comfortable cleanings. She, like Jackie, has also extended into the patient service arena and assists as an insurance coordinator. She helps our patients to better understand their benefits and to provide necessary follow-up with any less than forthcoming insurance reimbursements. She has four grown children.

Tracy Reeve, RDH

Tracy has a reputation of her own in dental hygiene, for her compassionate and gentle care. She especially enjoys winning over fearful patients and derives much satisfaction from the difference she is able to make for people's health. She is a graduate of Miami Dade Community College, and has been with the practice for over fifteen years. Tracy is bilingual in Spanish, and has twin sons.

Kim Tremols, RDH

Kim is another of our star hygienists. She returned to South Florida after having practiced in the northern end of the state for a few years. Kim is celebrating over 7 years of marriage with her husband, Tony. They have 2 young sons. She has a great feel for educating patients and shows excellent results with even the most complex gum problems. Kim is an instant hit with even our most fastidious patients (yes, we have a lot of those!). Ask for her; you won't be disappointed.

Desi Jiron, CDA

Desi is a career dental assistant with advanced training and experience in assisting with TMJ diagnosis and treatment. He runs our joint vibration analyses and electromyography studies, and also provides chairside care for our patients. Desi's wonderful sense of humor and impeccable manners keep him in high esteem with our patients. Desi was born and raised in Nicaragua, and is fluent in English and Spanish. He has three sons.

Denise Jurney, CDA

Denise is Dr. Groh's circulating assistant, with over 17 years of experience in orthodontics and dentistry. Her affable manner and gentle touch make her friend to many in our practice. Denise is a natural organizer and provides much of the quality assurance in the clinical areas of the practice. She has been married for over 4 years and has a young son.

Veronica Gonzalez, CDA

Vero works for Dr. Groh and Dr. Souviron. She is a pleasure to work with, has a very calming and reassuring manner, and is very compassionate. Veronica has been a patient in our practice since she was eleven years old! Vero also has extensive experience in orthodontics, with over ten years of experience. Raised in Miami, she is bilingual in Spanish. Having been married for 7 years, she has a son and daughter.

Sarah Simpson, CDA

Sarah joined the practice in 2006 and has quickly become a patient favorite. She is an expert in dental care and assisting which demonstrates her genuine warm and caring personality. An integral part of the practice, she is a master of keeping patient treatment running smoothly. Sarah is the mother of a 4 year old daughter.

Alina Diaz, CDA

Alina is an outstanding dental assistant with over 18 years of experience. She joined our practice after moving from Orlando, Florida and serves as Dr. Mannis' primary chairside assistant. Alina is detail-oriented and has a comforting demeanor to soothe even the most apprehensive patient. She is the mother of Joey, her 19 year old son.

Jan Soderholm, RN, MSN, MBA

Jan is a part-time administrator and is responsible for accounts payable. Because of her nursing background, she assists as needed during complex procedures for medically fragile patients. Jan has three children and is a literature enthusiast.

Maria Hernandez

Maria works diligently to assure Dr. Souviron's medicolegal record keeping is perfect. She is the main contact for patient appointments and attorney meetings/depositions. She is also responsible for paper-management in his office and assists with insurance follow-through among various other tasks. Maria is bilingual in Spanish and is an empathetic soul to all. Maria has three grown sons.

Eboni Bryant

Having recently graduated from a local high school, Eboni is currently attending Miami Dade College and is working on becoming a dental hygienist. While studying, she has become the backbone of our recordkeeping department and assists the practice with various clerical duties. Eboni, a joyous soul, is always willing to help the practice on a clerical and clinical level.
