January, 1999 HAPPY NEW YEAR! January has hosted an interesting event in dental anesthesiology news; 60 Minutes II on CBS spotlighted several problems in the practice of dental anesthesiology. Dr. Groh was contacted by correspondant Vicki Mabrey prior to the airing of the show. Although a frightening piece, Ms. Mabrey agreed with Dr. Groh that such a report was actually a service to the public and great news for those of us who are well trained, licensed, and do it right!
December, 1998 Merry Christmas, Happy Chanuka, Happy Kwanza! December saw us back to Metrozoo yet again to perform a partial root canal on the cracked tusk of Dahlup, an Asian Bull Elephant. This was a beautiful animal and yet another worthwhile donation to Miami's animal kingdom.
June-August, 1998 This is the busiest the practice has ever been, thanks to your fine referrals. We worked very hard to accomodate an unusual number of emergency patients over the summer, and made some great new friends.
May, 1998 We celebrated our membership in the Executive Association of Greater Miami with a lua to beat all luas. Thanks to all of the Execs for over twenty years of support and friendship. Support the hospital wherever you can.
April, 1998 Another super Merrick Festival, viva Coral Gables!! This web site is generating requests for information and treatment from all over the country. We hope to be of as much service as possible!
March,1998 A busy month for Dental Leaders. Look for the entire Dental Leaders team to be donating time to Coral Gables' famed Merrick Festival, two days of music and dance on the Ponce De Leon traffic circle on the weekend of April 18 and 19. Dental Leaders shall sponsor the performance of Freddick Bratcher's Dance Ensemble for the fourth straight year. They are terrific; be sure not to miss it. In the forensic arena, Dr. Souviron finds demand for his expert services to the legal profession in the form of expert testimony and assisting law enforcement agencies to be ever increasing.
February, 1998 Thank you for your kind referrals. February was a month of new patients, new friendships, new alliances. Your heartfelt belief in quality dentistry and quality of life makes Dental Leaders stronger each month. We note that increasing numbers of new patients are returning to quality dentistry with horror stories of mistreatment, neglect, and lack of respect from so-called "plan" offices.
